Walk for Animals 2026 Returns May 25 — Registration Open
Our biggest annual fundraiser is back at Riverside Park, with a goal of $175,000 to support the GHS Cares program through 2026.
Mark your calendars (and clear your dog’s social schedule): the Walk for Animals returns to Riverside Park on Sunday, May 25, 2026. Registration is now open, and early-bird pricing runs through April 30.
This year’s goal is $175,000 — every dollar of which will fund our community-facing GHS Cares program (pet food bank, emergency vet support, and outreach to seniors and people experiencing homelessness).
New for 2026: a "Senior & Special-Needs" registration loop with seating, water stations, and shorter distances; a Vendor Village with 30+ pet-friendly local businesses; and a doggy photo booth by Guelph Pet Photography.
